Alysh Competitions in Yakutia
Alysh wrestling competitions took place in the city of Yakutsk (Republic of Sakha, Russia) on July 3-4.
The event was held as a demonstration sport during the VIII Children of Asia Games. A total of 70 athletes from 11 countries participated.
Medals were awarded in nine weight categories among boys and girls aged 14-15.
Athletes from Kyrgyzstan performed successfully, securing several podium finishes:
- Maksat Kamalov | 50 kg | 1st place
- Abdulaziz Akylbekov | 55 kg | 2nd place
- Musa Turdumamatov | 70 kg | 2nd place
- Perizat Maambetova | 45 kg | 2nd place
